Mequon Heat Program Overview

Mequon HEAT provides a more competitive outlet for skilled and interested MTLL baseball and softball players and others from our local community. Baseball teams are aged-based with divisions decided by age as of April 30 of the current year. Mequon HEAT looks to field baseball teams for eight age levels (U9, U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16).

Teams are selected via tryouts that typically occur in late July or early August.

HEAT players are not required to play Mequon-Thiensville Little League (MTLL). HEAT teams generally practice indoors during the 2-3 months leading up to the season and then on various nights once the season begins. Games are generally played on weekends and include tournaments around Milwaukee and sometimes outside the local area. HEAT teams will play between 20-35 games, or 5-10 tournaments, depending upon the age group. All costs are covered directly by HEAT participants through your registration fees.

HEAT families are expected to participate in various fundraisers throughout the year, as well as volunteer time for hosted in-season tournaments. We also welcome new parent volunteers for the board of directors and various chair positions within the MTLL/HEAT organization. Please email TMYBA12@gmail.com if interested.
