Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the start of the MTLL season has been delayed until at least May 11th, which aligns with recommendations from Little League International. As this is an ever-changing situation, please check back to tmyba.org for updates.
If you selected to coach on your daughter/son's registration, you are required to attend a Little League Safety Plan presentation, followed by League meetings which will be scheduled when it is known when the season will begin. You will learn about required safety measures, then break out into League meetings where you will receive your team's roster, other literature and team bag. Look for an email from your League Director.
Welcome to the 2020 Baseball and Softball Season! Your MTLL Board has been working hard in the off season to ensure successful and fun experiences for your player(s) in 2020! As you'll read in our newsletter The Scorecard, there are some exciting changes coming this season. First and foremost, we will officially become affiliated with Little League! You're probably familiar with Little League from watching the Little League World Series each August, but the organization is much greater than that tournament. It began in 1939 and supports leagues in more than 80 countries. And it supports leagues of all youth ages. Our District is comprised of 15 organizations in a six southeastern Wisconsin counties. This change has been a long time coming and is a great way to start off the new decade. Although this will bring up many questions and some changes to the way we do things, it gives us the opportunity to play against and, as an organization, compete with, the growing baseball community at large. It also will elevate the quality of play, coaching and skill building that the organization is able to provide. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we move through this transition and, as always, welcome constructive feedback, comments and questions. Thank you for choosing MTLL and being a part of this exciting time! Don't forget to register here and, again, be sure to read The Scorecard as is has important dates and information to kick off the 2020 season.
